Best practices…

…usually aren’t. It’s one of the problems of benchmarking. Sure, benchmarking helps determine where things are at, what is working, how well, etc.

But, and it’s a big but, this does little to help you achieve breakthrough levels of performance. To achieve breakthrough performance, you don’t need a best practice. Instead, you need a…next practice!
